The decor was perfect for a mountain retreat.
The hotel charged us an additional fee for upgrading to two beds, despite it being the same price online.

This hotel was great. We were a little nervous after reading the other reviews, but it was clean, the pool & spa worked and were warm. The decor was lovely, very lodge like. On the downside, they charged us an additional fee for two beds rather than one even though it was listed as the same price online. The breakfast room was only open Fri-Sun. Overall, I would recommend it. ...read more

Pretty good stop for the money.
Uncomfortable chairs, while the bed was OK.

Nice surroundings and terrific location to Incline Village. Room was overall comfortable for the price paid and was private enough and quiet enough for me.

Convenience
dark interiors, few amenities

I would not return for the amenities, but I would for the location.

The staff was extremely friendly and the updating they did to the rooms was very nice.
The beds were extremely hard. I wished that we could have taken food from the continental breakfast back to our rooms.

Location.
Breakfast bar had no hot items except coffee.

This hotel met our most basic needs of bed, bath and outside media through TV with an escape of the pool/spa.

The shower curtain is cut off, probably to remove the moldy part, an indication of the quality of the motel. The hot tub is tiny and only warm. On check in no one told us about breakfast, which was pathetic, or about the swimming pool hot tub, or any help with figuring out where best to ski. ...read more

Poor service, hot tub, Sauna was not working. Manager did not care, large area of ice in parking lot, no bed side table, no bedside phone.

I was there for the MLK holiday weekend. The stay was not pleasant at all. We found out that the swimming pool and hot tub area only was open until 9pm. And hot tub and sauna were broken. The pool was cold. Breakfast only served on weekend. There is no bedside table, no phone at bed side. The room is very small. There area no room for anything else besides the bed in the room. There was a large area of ice in the parking lot. The area did not have enough room for parking. Although there is a parking lot under the building. But due to the icy ramp, you will need a tow truck to get the car out. We called the owner of the hotel. He seems not care at all, saying things do break down just like household appliance. He is saying sorry at all. Overall, we are not quite happy at all. Only good thing is it is close to the ski resort and has a shuttle. ...read more
